Hmmm.... I can't wait to see:
Guildmaster Cain: I'm wielding a Charr Bag!
No seriously... it is as crap as minipets that can't be shown in towns. NOBODY sees your bag. Only people buying this stuff are the people that bought their platinum on internet, then bought that 2 mill Crytalline Sword, FoW Armor and the Torment Shield with the complementary Bonedragon. Generally I kick these people from my parties, since I know they are just for the show. You rather have a charismatic knight in shining armor which aggros everyone due to his incompetence or the battlehardened warrior with the dulled armor who actually knows the weaknesses and strength of his opposing classes, since he also spend time playing as them?
But I don't mind them buying it from me, but it's just a novelty item and the price will drop as hard as the interest in them.

It's not a novelty item if you are planning to keep your character in pre - it's almost a necessity.
But, if you are planning to move your character into post, then I agree. Don't waste your money buying one.

Yeah, having an option to earn it w/o death-levelling would be nice.
Here's a thought...
I've never understood why the xp gained zeros out after a six level difference. What wold be cool is if, when you reach that point, you only gained 1 xp point from every monster killed.
It's still be a grind, but possibly more rewarding than leaving your character afk for 4-8 hours while a strider or moss spider kills it several hundred times. in a row.
And if one xp point is too much, how about .5 points, or .25, etc.

I hope your name truly emphasises your true feelings on this matter.
1xp per kill?
I'd sooner death-level than suffer that kind of grind... The notion of cutting my way through several thousand enemies per level.... >_<;

Well you would probably still be able to death level if you wanted, even with such a change. But those who wanted to try, for example, to get survivor and defender, they would have the option. They would have to be masochists, to be sure. But it would be another option.

You sound too much of a hater to me... lol Now we can show minipets in towns :P
Anyways, this bag is a nice addition to pre-searing. I wish they can add a few green weapons too tho.

My wife & I did about 10-12 boss-killing runs last night and got one bag between us. Factor that by how many times people going for LDoA are likely to kill the bosses and I figure the pre-searing market will have plenty of Charr Bags available within a short period of time, and prices should reflect that.

Actually this is the ONLY green EVER that actually serves a utilitarian function, that cannot be duplicated by any other item (at least in Pre).

Wow, somebody needs a reality check. Another angry person who thinks it takes ebaying to make a few million gold. By the way I don't think anyone is buying gold off the internet in order to buy a 5k-10k item.
Personally I think the bags are a great, and long awaited, addition for those of us who keep a character in Pre. Sadly in the 7 solo runs (28 bosses) I’ve made since these came out I haven’t gotten a single bag.

While the possibility of being stuck before level 20 is present, I don't even think about attempt that title, as far as I know is IMPOSSIBLE gain level 20 without doing "tricks" if you prefer that word instead of "exploit"; IMO is better add the possibility of gain level 20 not easy but just playing the game, without "tricks" not originally designed for that purpose.

Ha, reminds me of the South Park, WoW episode, where they have to kill around 2-3 millions boars to reach level 60.

So you usually kick people from your party if they have fancy armor or expensive weapons? If someone mentioned they had a charr bag, would you kick them as well?

Between last night and today I earned 1000 pnts over the wall and got 5 bags. Given that I will need a total of more than 10,000 points to get to lvl 16, I should have about 50 of those bags by the time I'm done - not exactly a rare item.

Doesn't even need that, to be honest. If LDoA exists, I don't think you should have to death level to reach it. I mean, come on, how is a hero who spent his time dying over and over and over again considered either legendary or a defender?
Why not actually facilitate LDoA? Add one of two things to pre-searing Ascalon:
1. A single Level 20 Charr Boss, tucked away in The Northlands.
2. A repeatable quest "Prove Your Mettle", which would be obtainable from Rurik on completion of all other presear quests, would require you to go north of the wall and kill the existing four Charr Bosses to prove your worth before joining Rurik's party. This quest would offer a 250 XP reward.
Either way would allow legitimate completion of the LDoA title, as well as the possibility of the Survivor title, and would actually consist of legendary actions in defence of Ascalon!
I'm sure those that have (or nearly have) the LDoA title would say 'Rawr, I did it the hard way!' but these solutions would mean while XP could be earned faster, you would in fact need to be at the screen fighting for the entire time, instead of asleep while you get repeatedly smooshed by a Strider or Charr.
Either that or change the title to Legendary Coffin-filler of Ascalon :P

ROFL!! That's a good one.
I'd love to be able to obtain both LDoA and the Survivor title. If possible I'd also like the ability to display both at once. Something like if you have both titles, you get a new title called "Legendary Survivor of Ascalon"

Well, anyone that is going for the Holy Lightbringer Title has to kill 25,000 monsters at least and have a bounty for it. So there is precedent for this type of endless grind.
